Been out to a festival today. A Morris dancing festival. It was good but reminded me how crazy, insane and cockamamie we truly… deeply are.

Turns out my PowerBook battery is faulty! I’ve had this since January 2005 (I KNOW, it’s a long time for me) and now they’re recalling a bunch of potentially explosive batteries. Guess who manufactured them too? Sony! Nice one Sony. This is only good news for me, I’ve had no battery problems at all but Apple are sending me out a brand new battery. Hello again 4 hour battery life!

A DS Lite mod I came up with. and it’s not super cheesy, German styled neon lights with silly stuff all over. It’s a rather unobtrusive, faint graphic on the top lid. God knows how I would ever get this working – etching, paint, stickers? I’ll find a way.

Not so perfect, but close enough. The M3 adapter is an, yep, adapter, which opens up multimedia capabilities with any device that uses the GBA game port. This includes the old GBA, the SP, Micro, DS and Gameboy Player. You can use most SD cards (or CF cards if need be), just insert the chosen medium into the cartridge and insert that into your device and there you have it. With another card (SuperKey in my case) you can play DS homebrew applications from the M3. It’s pretty snazzy! but before I bought mine I had some questions, like how far did it stick out the GB Micro? And here is the answer to you Googlers. Along with my SP! just for good measure. Any more devices just ask and I’ll upload the picture. -

And yes. If you really wanted to you could play DS roms, along with GB/GBC/NES and several others. Essential if you want to play your vintage GB and GBC games on your Micro or DS. top banana!

I started writing this a few nights ago. Caroline was round, it was about 2am and I started playing this chord sequence on the piano. Quickly nicknamed “Beauty song” I tried to digitise it only for it to sound a little harsher than the original. I was asked to make different genres and styles using this overture for a game, hence the change in style halfway through the track! I like this one.

I’ve been meaning to make this for a few days now. Found a few spare hours and finally did it! Tribute to Piney, in some kind of enraged thing.

Hello guys ‘n gals. I’m currently working on a mini game to kick start a bit of game making. I don’t know how long this project will be. I’m notorious for saying “A week!” and then have it come out 9 months later.

Don’t really want to give anything away other than this shouldn’t be long. The concept is solid, may have an online scoreboard (*ideal*), going to start the music very shortly. Right now its onto concept art as it’s all I can do at this time of the night!
