Better-ish
Friday, April 25th, 2008I’m almost back to my old self so I just thought I’d make another post.
Haven’t worked on Tormi in about 3 weeks or so. Have planned a lot of stuff out, got a boss on the go. Piney also sent over 2 bloody awesome new tracks, one will be used in the next trailer and as a boss somewhere down the line. From an audio perspective Chapter 2 is really his chapter. I’ve still gotta make music for it!
Picked up Mario Kart Wii. Great game but I’m supposed to relax whilst I’m recovering, which means no fast games!
Anyways I’ve been away from a blown body and mind. I’m always pushing both with working 6 straight hours on Tormi then going for a 9 mile hike (with camera, so it’s not a creative break either!). I’m just always working on something, which means I haven’t even had a holiday in just over 4 years (except a week holiday 2 years back where I got ill, urgh!). Couple this with bad posture and an already overactive work ethic. Surviving on 2 meals a day which are way below the recommended calorie intake. I broke myself! The cubital tunnel syndrome was just the surface of an overworked body. Which has almost cleared up.
Alas! Have some pics from my time off.
On the main menu in Tormi there are a couple of icons which tell you what kind of system features are activated. At the moment this is just an internet connection and a 360 controller (or any controller that supports an analogue stick and rumble). If these icons are shown then it basically means you’re set for business. Or ready for action, if you like Duke.
Because what adventure game is complete without suit changes?
Funny. Thought I had more pics than this to show.
