Well I’ve already announced it on another site so I guess it’s only right I should mention it here too. Me and Pineapple are currently working on 2 new titles, spurred on by the good Lunnye sales! Piney is doing the full soundtracks to both these games-
Tempest (relax its just a codename!) is a direct sequel to one of my games, but with a much more fleshed out concept. It should be a couple of hours long.
Hadal is a whole new game. Yes it’s another platformer (hey I likes the genre and have a fairly beefy engine to use) but this one is a shorter game. The maximum gametime is probably around an hour and is built around multiple playthroughs. It will definitely have a local highscore table and maybe an online too with a stat tracking system.
Both will be released at the same time and in a package of sorts. Details to come!
But work aside I’ve just ordered Final Fantasy 3 and 4 for the DS, bought Worms Open Warfare 2 for the PSP for SIX QUID. Something for the weekend. And a mate bought a brilliant canoe;
We have a kind of tradition up here called the Rushcart. You know Morris Men, right? Well a whole bunch of them from as far as Belgium or somewhere get together up here every year. Hundreds (I think) of these mad heads pull a cart with a tower of rushes up from the village main road to a pub near the top of the moors, with someone sat on top of this tower (the girlfriend’s dad was on this one year). It’s all very daft and brilliant, the kind of thing Doctor Who would like.
OH HAI.
A pit we found right in the middle of the moors. Like it shouldn’t be there.
And a few weeks back we had some kind of 40’s festival in the same village. This place is just over the hill from me and I was too lazy to walk there on the day… But I climbed up a hill and with my trusty SLR did a short stop motion of an Avro Lancaster bomber flying overhead. I did you know!
