Enemies

Here's a rough guide to all 58 enemies.

This fella is called a Twaddle, they just walk horizontally across the platforms. One by one they will lay an egg. In the grand scheme of things these guys are relatively weak.
Twaddle's Egg. They have a lot of health but don't really do much. No attack.
UFO. UFO's can fly vertically or horizontally. They have no real means of attack, you just have to avoid contact with them.
Big Boy. These are merely beefed up Twaddles. Again, no real means of attack. Avoid contact! Have a lot more health than a regular Twaddle.
Elephant. These blighters patrol platforms, randomly shooting out rippling green balls that cannot be destroyed.
Black Spike. Careful for these guys. They cannot take damage, forcing you to dodge around these critters. They have simple vertical or horizontal movement though. So not to worry!
Blue Spike. Identical to the original Spike, but shoots bullets when level with Sam. Can be destroyed, thankfully.
Beehive. Spawns bee's. Best getting rid of these as quickly as possible. Lots of health, and remember to keep your distance.
Bee. These critters have the lowest health in the game. 1 hit from anything will kill them. But they can attack en masse and are attracted towards Sam when nearby.
Fire Seeker. Without Sam's Fire Powers enabled, these guys will just sleep. If Sam has his Fire Power on then these become indestructible and are attracted towards him. Fairly weak, just never go near them with Fire Power on!
Fish. Fairly simple creatures. Childless Twaddle's of the sea.
Gold Fish. Similar to the regular Fish, but surrounds itself with an electric field if Sam approaches.
Spikes. Stereotypical inanimate invulnerable spikes.
Rocket Man. Surrounds himself and nearby enemies in a field that protects itself from all forms of rockets. Can be destroyed by anything else.
Tank Mini boss. A tank that trundles around. Can only be hurt by bomb blasts from below. Shoots out rings that hurt Sam!
Spitter/Turret 1. Spits out every second for a few seconds, then pauses. Attack during the pause for an easy kill.
Duck. These birds fly overhead, but when above Sam they will swoop down for an attack.
Thin Blip. Blips move by bouncing around, either on the ground or on the ceiling, always trying to get to Sam. Can be dangerous, but they are relatively weak.
Scout. Very easy to kill, they patrol the caves and jump around from time to time.
Mecha Boy. Similar to Big Boy but stop and fire out bullets when stood still for too long. More health too.
Turret 2. These guys don't aim for Sam, but every few seconds they shoot in 5 directions, best to stay below these before going for the kill.
Sea Mine. Was dubbed the Casio Watch in development. These are static in the oceans, but if you get too near they'll blow up taking you with them! Can cause a chain reaction too *hint hint*
Electric Beam. These beams are on a timer, so you can only get through in the split seconds they are open for. Cannot damage them.
Turret 3. Advanced Turret Bot. Shoots in 32 directions in a spiral motion. Avoid during the shooting phase. Attack when charging.
Gold Fish. Similar to the regular Fish, but surrounds itself with an electric field if Sam approaches.
Whale. Completely harmless! He stops the currents from pushing you back in one level.
Scuba Fish. These annoying fish will chase you underwater. They like to dance about so getting a straight shot might be a little hard. Easy on the horizontal, difficult on vertical.
Bomber. When you approach this timid creature will fly up and drop bombs on you. So it isn't that nice really. Thankfully it has low health and you can pick it off when it's perched.
The Spore. Haunting enemy that chases after you when you're not looking. Gains speed too. Hates being hit by the beam and is easily irritated when hit by a rocket. Lots of health, but it does make a squeaky sound when it bounces!
Sentry Bot. These fellas just fly around the corners of the screen or level in their own little way. They don't fire. But it's always good to get rid of them fast.
Twaddle 2. This guy is nothing more than a grown up twaddle. Except that he now shoots and can move much faster. When they slow down- crouch!
Spider Mind. Can be difficult in the wrong situation. These guys will walk up and down walls. Every so often they will stop and shoot out in 5 directions. When they stop; you run!
Doctor Icer. Usually move in packs. They will walk along platforms and occasionally will turn into glowing bullets. During the bullet stage they will move faster depending on how much health they have left. A Doctor near death will speed up some what!
Flabb. Flabb's main ambition in life is to eat you. They are quite slow movers thankfully, but as they die, they will spawn off 3 smaller Flabbs. With faster speeds and lower health. Nothing is ever perfect.
Ice Spore. Much tougher, much more faster version of the regular Spore. Only found in the ice worlds though. Phew!
Barium Hucknell. Strange creatures that let off an sound which, when too close to the Hucknell, will mess around with Sam's physics. And they have a mighty roar.
Gunner Icer. Have machine guns and will shoot! Attack when they stop. Have quite low health so they're not much of a worry.
Shuter. Shuter will fall from the heavens on little parachutes. They'll walk around and will sometimes fall off a ledge and float down to the next one. Another weak bad guy.
Hunter. *unused* These guys were originally going to be a new breed of super bad guy that followed the player around, hunting them in packs. They were removed due to them being a little out of place, and a little *too* haunting. Climbed walls, jumped, hunted in packs and let out a horrifying cry.
Boxer. Boxers patrol platforms, every so often they will throw their fists forwards. Only when stopped though.
Pea Gunner. Nothing more than a little green ball with machine guns strapped to his sides. Very easy to kill, but don't get stuck in front of one! They'll let out a might blast.
Punk Ball. Patrol platforms, but will jump around from time to time, either down a cliff or over a wall to get Sam. Low health, like to avoid beam blasts.
Mountain Sheep. No problems here, almost harmless if they didn't kill you upon contact. So be careful there! Other than that they are very easy to kill.
Red Sheep. An evolved sheep. If you get too close it will turn into a projectile and launch itself towards Sam.
Blue Bird. Behave just like blue fish. Fly around a bit, very weak.
Orange Bird. Has a tiny little more health than the Blue Bird and flies a little differently.
Spike Ball and Bird. These birds will drop a bouncing spikey ball when you approach them! If you get the bird before the ball is dropped then you stand a chance of the ball being destroyed too!
Lightning! Causes temporary paralysis. No damage done, but does mean that other bad guys can come along and hurt sam. No way to stop it.
Spectre. Either fly or walk. Both are weak and have no projectile attacks.
Zombie. Walk around mindlessly, stopping to throw out chunks of acid from time to time. Avoid the acid! And the Zombie! Both kill.
Frogger. Hop around, can triple jump too. So height is no problem for these guys. Low health though.
Bull Ball. Behave just like Punk Ball, but have more health.
Bat. Bats fly around caves and Ravenstones. They're pretty sneaky and can fly away into corners of levels, hiding from Sam. Or they will go and attack you.
Fire Lord. These guys will move around slowly, surrounded by a shield of fireballs. Which makes rocket, sword and fire attacks all the more harder to use effectively. Best chance is the beam attack.
Toro. Only appear once in the game. Bull like creature with a lot of health and start to run when near death.
Yorkshire Pudding. Another patroller. But these will fire off blobs of acid when dead. A lot of health.
Space Ball. Just like Bull Ball but can jump a little higher.
Space Man. Flies around hunting down Sam. Has a machine gun and uses quite often. Always try to take out quickly.
Electrics! Avoid water that has electricity pumping through it. Cannot damage, cannot stop, just avoid.
